Real Jobs, Real Homeowners
Real Problems. Solved in Days.
Not every project is a full backyard patio. Patios, walkways, walls — any hardscaping project, big or small — gets the same care. These two jobs took days, not weeks, and fixed something the homeowner had lived with for years. No job too small.
Before
AfterThe Trash-Can Pad
The problem: The grass strip beside her house where the trash cans lived turned to mud every time it rained. It sat on a slope, and even her own landscapers complained about hauling the cans across it.
What we did: We cut in a level paver pad with a clean retaining edge and a stone border — a dedicated, built-to-grade spot for the cans instead of a patch of side-yard grass fighting gravity.
The result: No more mud, no more hill, no more dread on trash day. Just a small, sharp-looking pad that does its one job perfectly.

Before
AfterThe Front-Entry Makeover
The problem: Her front stoop was plain concrete that no longer matched the paver walkway leading up to the house — and she wanted it to match.
What we did: We found near-identical pavers, tore out the old concrete stoop, and rebuilt the entry from the ground up — steps, border, and all — so it reads as one continuous, intentional entrance.
The result: The stoop finally matches the walkway. She loves it, and it's the kind of small fix that changes how the whole front of the house feels.

Got something smaller in mind — a walkway, a wall, an odd corner of the yard? That's exactly what we're fast at.

An Investment in Your Property
Outdoor living upgrades consistently rank among the better-returning home improvements you can make. A quality patio, walkway, or retaining wall adds real usable square footage to your home and boosts curb appeal the moment it's finished — it's a project you get to enjoy for years, not just a line on a listing.
Built to Outlast Wood Decking
Tired of re-staining and replacing wood decking every few years? Pavers are timeless — no rot, no splinters, no annual sanding weekend. And if a section ever does get damaged, it's repairable stone by stone instead of tearing out the whole thing.
About Rapid Patios
Started With My Own Patio.
Now I Build Yours.
I'm Mike, a local Turnersville homeowner. I started Rapid Patios LLC because I wanted a beautiful backyard for my own family — and I couldn't find a contractor who showed up on time, communicated clearly, and did exactly what they said they'd do. So I built my own patio, and it turned into a business.
When you call, you talk to me — not a call center. Our installation crew brings over 20 years of hardscaping experience to every project: clean work, honest pricing, and a finished product you'll love.
I'm a licensed New Jersey home improvement contractor (NJ HIC #13VH14151800), insured, and committed to doing the job right — every time.

Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a paver patio cost in South Jersey?
Most paver patios in the Turnersville / South Jersey area run roughly $20-$40 per square foot installed, depending on paver style, base preparation, drainage needs, and any add-ons like a sitting wall or fire pit. A typical 300-400 sq ft patio often lands in the low-to-mid five figures. Every yard is different, so we give you a firm number after a free on-site visit — not a generic estimate.
How long does a hardscaping project take?
A standard paver patio usually takes 2-5 days once we start, depending on size, base depth required, and weather. Larger projects with retaining walls, steps, or a full backyard redesign can take one to two weeks. We'll give you a realistic timeline before work begins, and we don't leave a job half-finished.
Do I need a permit for a patio in New Jersey?
It depends on your township and the size/height of the project — many at-grade paver patios don't require a permit, but retaining walls over a certain height or patios attached to structural changes sometimes do. We handle the research for your specific municipality and pull any required permits as part of the job so you don't have to deal with it.
What's the process from quote to finished patio?
1) You submit the form or email us with a bit about your project. 2) We schedule a free on-site visit to measure, look at drainage/grade, and talk through design options. 3) You get a clear written estimate — no surprise charges later. 4) Once you approve, we schedule the install. 5) Our crew excavates, sets a proper compacted base, lays and cuts the pavers, and finishes with polymeric sand and edge restraint. 6) We walk the finished job with you before we call it done.
Are you licensed and insured, and do you do the work yourselves?
Yes — Rapid Patios LLC is a licensed New Jersey Home Improvement Contractor (NJ HIC #13VH14151800) and carries $1,000,000 in general liability coverage. We're a small, local operation: the owner personally handles your quote and stays involved through the project, and our installation crew — with over 20 years of hardscaping experience — handles the physical work. It's the same small team on every job, not a stranger pulled off an app.
What kind of warranty do you offer?
We stand behind our workmanship and will come back to make it right if something we installed settles or fails due to installation error. Paver manufacturers also back their products with their own material warranties, which we'll go over with you when you choose your paver style.
Do you work in the winter, or only spring/summer?
Hardscaping season in South Jersey generally runs from early spring through late fall, since ground needs to be workable for excavation and base compaction. We're happy to schedule design consultations and estimates year-round, and will book your install for the earliest suitable weather window.
What areas do you serve?
We're based in Turnersville, NJ and serve homeowners throughout Gloucester and Camden counties, including Sewell, Washington Township, Williamstown, Blackwood, Glassboro, Mullica Hill, and Cherry Hill — for pavers, concrete, and everything in between. Not sure if you're in range? Reach out — if we can't help, we'll tell you.
